Were you looking for a thriller film to watch that will have you on the edge of your seat? If so, you should check out Bad Sister. This movie will give you heightened feelings of suspense, excitement, and anxiety, which is what makes up a good thriller, if you ask me.
Bad Sister is a 2016 drama film about a student at a Catholic boarding school who finds out that a new nun at her school is an imposter and has an obsession with her brother. The student must find a way to put an end to this nun before it’s too late.
The film is a Lifetime original movie, and it definitely meets the Lifetime movie criteria. It was written by Barbara Kymlicka and directed by Doug Campbell. You might know some of the cast members, but most of them are new faces to Hollywood. The cast includes Alyshia Ochse, Devon Werkheiser, Ryan Whitney, Helen Eigenberg, Robert Leeshock, Lise Simms, Sloane Avery, Hugh B. Holub, and many more.
Now that you know what the movie is about, we’ll share where exactly you can watch this drama film. Is Bad Sister on Netflix?
I hate to break it to you, but this thriller film is not Netflix. So you’re going to have to look elsewhere to see this movie. But don’t fret. Netflix has a ton of thriller movies on its platform that will have you biting your nails and yelling at the screen, just like Bad Sister.
We recommend you check out The Stepfather. This film stars You‘s Penn Badgley and tells the story of a teenager who suspects that his mother’s new boyfriend is a serial killer after seeing a sketch of him on America’s Most Wanted. The teenager must find a way to prove that his mom’s boyfriend is a serial killer before it’s too late.
You should also check out the Netflix movie Secret Obsession. This thriller movie stars Brenda Song as a young woman who wakes up from a coma to find out from a man who claims to be her husband that she has amnesia after a traumatic attack. With no clue of what happened to her and no recollection of who her husband is, she puts all her trust in this man. However, when she’s released from the hospital and is taken home, things begin to spiral downward, and the woman searches to find out what really happened to her. As she uncovers the truth, her life becomes in danger, and she must fight to stay alive.
Both of the films listed above are good alternatives, and we think you’ll be just as satisfied watching them.
You can rent or purchase this film through Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube, and Google Play at different prices. Hopefully, Netflix gets its hands on this thriller film soon, but for now, you’ll have to check out the platforms listed above to watch this movie.
